Accidental Exposures

Exploring analog B&W photography

Accidental exposures is a photography project consisting of random double-exposures taken over a period of 5 months. Depicting a dreamy mixture of places and people, the photos look ordinary at first glance, but reveal overlaying motives as you study the images.

The first batch of photos was shot in the autumn of 2021 in Vejle, Denmark while the second batch was shot in Vienna, Austria in the spring of 2022. The project was shot on high-speed 35mm film with an Olympus OM-1.
