Re-design of the meldekort for NAV

Meldeplan is a re-design of the meldekort, functioning as a calendar, journal and time-logging tool for recipients in the form of an app. The mandatory meldeplikt has now been re-named to innsjekk making the interaction with NAV feel more caring, transparent and less daunting.

Recipients of arbeidsavklaringspenger from NAV have to fill in a form called meldekort every 14th day, in order to receive financial support. The current system leaves many users frustrated as the form is confusing, tedious and inflexible to their individual situation.

Users were tired of filling out the same details every week, our initial concept let users fill in the minimum information needed to satisfy the requirements.

Many users requested more transparency as they sometimes would receive less financial support than anticipated, leaving them frustrated.

Our solution guides users through the process of reporting information, clarifying what information they need to provide.

The app also gives recipients the option to note how they feel, as many requested a way to tell NAV how they are doing – information that is beneficial for their case-worker too.
